Disneyland Parking Rates

Daily parking rates for the Standard, Preferred and Downtown Disney lots at Disneyland Resort.

How much is parking at Disneyland?

Standard parking at Disneyland Resort costs $40 per vehicle, per day, at all three guest parking locations: the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and the Toy Story Parking Area. Preferred Parking, which gets you closer to the tram pickup or park entrance, costs $60 per day and is only available at Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals.

Unlike an airport, Disneyland's daily rate is the same no matter how many hours you're actually parked — it's one flat fee per calendar day, with in-and-out privileges. Oversized vehicles (RVs, limos, buses and similar) are charged separately, and Downtown Disney has its own short-term parking rate for guests who are only shopping or dining rather than visiting the theme parks.

Use our interactive Disneyland Parking Calculator below to quickly estimate your total parking cost for a single day or a multi-day trip. Comparing your expected fees in advance can help you budget effectively and decide whether Standard or Preferred parking makes sense for your visit.

What is the cheapest parking at Disneyland?

The cheapest on-property option is Standard parking at $40 per day, which is available at all three guest lots and comes with tram access to the park entrances. If you're only visiting Downtown Disney for shopping or dining rather than the theme parks, the Downtown Disney lot starts at a lower rate for shorter stays. Off-site lots and nearby hotel parking near Harbor Boulevard can sometimes undercut the $40 rate, though savings should be weighed against walking distance and security.

Ways to Pay Less for Disneyland Parking

Because Standard and Preferred parking cost the same regardless of how many hours you actually spend in the lot, there's no early-bird or off-peak discount to chase — the main lever is simply choosing Standard over Preferred, since the $20-per-day upgrade mainly buys a shorter walk to the tram.

For multi-day trips, paying the daily rate at the gate each day adds up quickly, so it's worth checking whether your hotel offers free or discounted parking with an overnight stay, since many nearby Good Neighbor hotels include parking that can replace a day or more of theme park parking fees.

Travelers visiting the Disneyland Resort can also look into off-site lots near Anaheim, such as those utilizing the Pay To Park App, which are frequently cheaper than the on-property structures and may be closer than you'd expect for a short walk in.

Finally, for shorter visits or if you're staying nearby, it may be best to skip parking altogether. Many Anaheim-area hotels offer a free shuttle to the resort, and a rideshare drop-off can be worth it if you're only spending part of a day in the parks.
